Isabella Salvetti, is an award winning Filmmaker. She was born in Rome where she lives and works. She earned her Master Degree in Film Studies, at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with the highest score. In 1998, she moved to Los Angeles to attend the Masters in Producing at AFI. From 1998 to 1999 she worked for Dale Pollock’s Film Production Company the Peack Productions, as Development Intern. In 2000 she attended a Course in Directing and Screenwriting at the NFTS in London, Tutor of the course, Stephen Frears. She worked as Assistant Director and Screenwriter for Maurizio Lucidi, Roberto Cimpanelli, Vincenzo Salemme and Giovanni Veronesi. Isabella cowrote theTreatment of the film Manuale d’amore (2005) by Giovanni Veronesi. Between 2007 and 2010 she wrote and directed 4 short films entitled Barking, An Innocent Gesture, A Little Fortune and Merry Christmas. In 2014 she founded the Queen Films, a Film Production Company and she produced, wrote and directed two short films entitled Two left feet (2016) and Luce e me (2020) which received the most prestigious National and International Awards.
